Welcome to my website! My name is Lisa Kruse and I am a 5th grade teacher at Louisville Elementary. This is my 15th year teaching. I earned my Elementary and Special Education degrees at Clarion University of PA and my masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Ashland University.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going on trips with my family, reading, shopping, and watching my children play soccer. My daughter Gianna is 6 1/2 years old and my son Vinny is about to turn 4.

AR Goal for the 2nd 9 weeks:
Your child will need to take 2 chapter book quizzes for the 9 weeks. One by Dec. 9th and one by Dec. 21st. In January, they will then take the AR quiz on the book we are reading on class, Number the Stars.
Schoology- Check out assignments your child has completed or some he/she are working on now.
Here are the steps to see your child’s assessments through Schoology.
Data Binders We will be implementing our Blended Learning and instead of recording Leopard Leader scores in a binder, we will be recording them in lepapps with the Chromebooks. Instead of signing the signature paper in the data folder, there will be a spot on the Roar Chart to mark your initials saying that you have checked the grades in lepapps or on PIV for each week. Some of those Leopard Leader grades will still be kept in a binder at school or recorded in Schoology or Think Central. We realize that not everyone has internet access at home and we will work with you to make sure you are able to see your child’s assignments. If you have any questions, please ask us.
Special Schedule for my homeroom:
This link will take you to Spelling City. Here you will see each week's spelling list.
